Description

The Kids’ Teca Fleece is great as a stand-alone jacket or midlayer on any adventure. Each fleece is made from best-in-class, recycled fleece and repurposed polyester taffeta that might otherwise end up in the landfill. This style is unisex. Also available in Women’s and Men’s.

  • Use a flexible tape measure.
  • To avoid clothes skewing the measurements, make sure they’re wearing something light and close-fitting, like leggings and a t-shirt (not jeans or a heavy jacket).
  • Ask them to stand up straight with their feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Height: Holding the tape measure vertically, measure their total height from the top of their head straight down to the floor.
  • Chest: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of their chest.
  • Waist: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of their natural waist (at the crease when they bend to one side).
  • Hips: With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of their hips (usually around the top of their thighs, where they connect to their torso).
  • Sleeves: Starting at the base of their neck, measure along their shoulder, then down to the wrist. Their elbow should be slightly bent.
  • Inseam: Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from their crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.
