Great for winter bonfires, ice fishing at the lake, or any cold weather activity, the Fuego Down Pant is a playful new take on our quintessential insulation layer. Made with responsibly sourced 800-fill down and a water-resistant DWR-finished shell, this lightweight pant is one we love for winter wandering. Also available in Women’s.

  • Use a flexible tape measure.
  • If possible, have someone help you take measurements.
  • Wear something light and close-fitting—like leggings and a t-shirt—so your clothes don’t add to the measurements. Don’t wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.
  • Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Chest: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.
  • Waist: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).
  • Hips: With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso). 
  • Sleeves: Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.
  • Inseam: Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

Comfy when cold but not flexible like a jogger

It’s like a jacket for the legs. Def felt the need when it dipped below 20F. Gets the job done. I wish it was more flexible and the seat was a bit higher (it reduces legs range of motion, so might risk ripping it).

Comfortable and Warm

I was shopping around for down pants and found the Cotopaxi ones to be the best option. I am 6'2", 160lb, and have a 32" waist. I got a Large and they fit exactly how I wanted them to. I'm using them more for lounging so wanted them a little bigger, but I could layer them under snow pants too. If I was only going to use them for layering, I probably

Love These Pants

I love my new Fuego Down Pants. I am an active, average size woman. I purchased Men's size medium so I'd have plenty of room to layer underneath. I recently participated in a cold Nordic race. These pants kept me warm until the start time and because of the long ankle zippers, they were easy to pull off over my Nordic boots. Wonderful product.
